After spending a couple of days stripping dodgy undercoat and re-assembling busted figures, I'm almost back where I started.
In a curious way this has helped me to better finalise my plans going forward, in terms of what squads I'm going to paint, but probably more importantly what recipe I'm going to use.
I'll post exactly what I'm doing later, but until then here is a couple of WIP test Marines
The yellow works really well. Can we get the recipe?
ReplyDeleteIt's easy, Yriel Yellow, at least 2 coats. Panels and details lined with Reikland Flesh (this stage takes forever, as it pays dividends to be neat)
DeleteThen edge highlight with Screaming Skull. You can do some further highlights with White but that depends on location and pose
